Description

CyberT. – The Ultimate Raspberry Pi CM4/CM5 Handheld Terminal - Beta

Latest release, beta v2.0 has minor tweaks that enabled the slim screen, and now the new model has a flat, slim front, and there is a new case with a flat back for a slimmer design at about 12 mm thick! As thick as an iPhone with a case. v3 is complete and is undergoing testing, now with 2x USB 3.0 ports M.2 SATA and other improvements.

Funds from this beta will be used to continue the development and testing of the next design with more features.

Note that this is not a fully finished project, and this listing is meant for tinkers, geeks, or people interested in owning something cool, no soldering required to assemble, but some DIY experience will be helpful. The keyboard mapping needs some work/ optimization, simple to program with QMK or VIA.

Unlock the power of portable cybersecurity, development, and Linux computing with CyberT. A custom-built, all-in-one handheld terminal designed for hackers, makers, and tinkerers alike.

At the heart of Cybert. The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4/CM5 v3.0), seamlessly integrates into a custom PCB packed with thoughtfully designed features to provide a powerful, compact, and intuitive terminal experience. The latest beta 2.0 works with the original design, a very slim display measuring 4" square inches, and a resolution of 720x720 (Adafruit hast the display as well (adafruit.com/product/5794), and we tested and used this one (buydisplay.com/square-3-95-inch-720x720-ips-tft-lcd-display-rgb-interface). The alternative display (for the retro design and v1.0) used this Waveshare display with HDMI, see link and updated photos with the extended front face to fit the thicker display(https://a.co/d/dv6oPja) with a retro design, all files will be published and shared with your purchase, can also be found on the documentation page found on our page footer and here as well.
